To meet the growing demand for our product we’re currently seeking a Laser Operator on our evening shift. Evening shift is 2:30PM-1:00AM Monday – Thursday with a $3.00/hr. evening shift premium. In this position you will form various production components and ensure quality work is maintained through every step.

Your responsibilities in this role will include:

·        Troubleshooting programming or cutting issues and submit change requests as required.

·        Replace miscut or missing parts to ensure quality parts are leaving the station.

·        Assist in materials management and waste reduction including loading of Tru Store .

·        Keep work area clean and ensure a safe work environment.

·        Work closely with the Team lead and other team members to ensure production flow, clear communication and that deadlines are met.  

·        Assist with “hands on work” including denesting parts as needed. 

·        Make process improvement recommendations. 

We’re looking for:

·        Knowledge of materials and material properties. 

·        Understanding of operation and maintenance of Laser and Plasma cutting technology. 

·        Problem solving  

·        Able to communicate with peers respectfully  

·        Strong technical skills and ability to read drawings 

·        Forklift & Crane License
